2021 / Modular glass sculpture
Meeting Points is a modular glass and metal sculpture designed as a concept-proposal for the Aalto ARTS donor wall. The individual module incorporates glass shapes mouth-blown inside a tetrahedral frame, deliberately expanding past the metal edges to create irregular organic shapes. By restricting its natural flow and tendency to form an even bubble, the glass is coaxed into forming unusual abstract shapes. Made in collaboration with Lennart Engels.
2022-2023 Exhibited at GLASS - HAND FORMED MATTER in Berlin, Germany; Boda, Sweden; and Riihimäki, Finland.
