A personal exploration on dual-identity and connection, told through stories of my maternal lineage. This was my final project for the Materials and Living Systems course, and was developed with the prompt “Algae and the Baltic Sea.”
The piece includes field recordings of the Baltic sea recorded on hydrophone and microphone in Helsinki and Tvärminne, Finland. It features original sound design and music composition by me.
